Not every subject wants the same card
Memorising vocabulary and drilling exam questions are not the same job. Cardely gives you four deck types, so you pick the one that fits the material. Topic decks hold the others together.

Questions people ask
Is Cardely free?
Yes. You can create an account, build decks, and study community decks for free. Unlimited deck creation, an ad-free app, and AI import come with the Premium plans.
Which files does the AI import accept?
PDF files. Results are not guaranteed for scanned PDFs, the text has to be selectable. We recommend reviewing the generated cards before you study them.
Can I import my decks from other apps?
Yes. Upload the .apkg file you exported. Cards containing images or audio keep their text, but that media is not carried over yet.
Is there an iOS app?
Yes. Cardely is on the App Store and Google Play. Download it free on iPhone or iPad and pick up where you left off with the same account.
Are the decks I create public?
No. Decks are private by default. Sharing one with the community is your call, and only then does it show up in search.
How do challenges work?
Pick a deck, challenge your friends, and set how many cards everyone answers. Each person studies on their own time, and when the deadline passes the standings and the winner are revealed.
